Make progress at bridge with GOTO Bridge
Do you wish to practice at auction and particularly at specific bidding sequences? GOTO Bridge enables you to define the bidding sequence you want to explore and will propose relative deals.
If, in addition, you activate the checking function, GOTO Bridge will correct your mistakes.
GOTO Bridge enables unlimited preparation of hands. If you liked a particular deal in a tournament, in a lesson or even in a magazine, just prepare it and play it again with GOTO Bridge.
You can even make GOTO Bridge play the hand then compare yourself with the software. You can also specify the bidding sequence and the leading card, print or save the deal to share it with friends.
As indicated above, you can compare yourself with GOTO Bridge on all played deals. At the end of the game, a simple click will have GOTO Bridge take your seat in South and replay the hand
you have just finished. The comparison applies then on the bidding and on the card game. Maybe you will reach the software's World champion level?
Lessons and exercises: a new item in GOTO Bridge, the « Lessons and Exercises » mode offers 4 complete chapters about the card game, with relative exercises
to put theory into practice without delay. And, if ever you could not complete your exercises, the solution is available at the end of the deal, to explain how it should have been played.
Commented deals: when reading the comments of a deal in a newspaper, who never dreamt of being able to take the cards in hand and play them for real?
GOTO Bridge offers this possibility. You play selected deals and, after the 13th trick, you can read Jérôme Rombaut's comments, about both the bidding and the card game. You can also replay the deal if you wish.
The « Evaluation » mode enables you to evolve among 10 levels of game, and learn to know your strong points and your weak points. Here is how it works:
Comparison with other players: at the end of each hand, you are classified among dozens of other players who have played the same deal in the same conditions.
You can view the details of the bidding and the card game of all the players; you can even organize to be compared to a specific player. Furthermore, every 20 deals, GOTO Bridge ranks you
within the different categories. When your average exceeds 60%, you reach the upper category. If you are under 40%, you get put down to the lower category. Between 40% and 60%, you remain in
the same category. You are thus naturally compared with players of your own level.
Remaining in the « Evaluation » mode, you can display your performances as a table: deal by deal, all of your results will be displayed per specific criteria, as tables.
You can therefore discover at a glance where you master the game and where you still have weaknesses. Are you better when playing no trump or suit? Are you bad in defence on slams?
